I am a student in the History track of History and Philosophy of Science.  I hold a BSc, MSc, and Graduate Diploma in Arts from the University of Melbourne.  In my work, I study the history and development of economics from the perspectives of history and philosophy of science.  I am particularly interested in the tradition of historical epistemology and French epistemology more generally.  My current research centers around the introduction of paper money in early-modern Europe and the credit theories of money which were developed to describe how these new monetary forms worked; specifically, I would like to understand how the emergence of paper money and credit theories of money can be seen as part of the broader transformations in scientific thought that occurred in early-modern Europe.
