I am a student in the History track of the program in History and Philosophy of Science.  

I earned my Master of Science (MSc) in Empires, Colonialism and Globalization at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and my Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Classical Civilization at the University of California, Berkeley.  As a historian, my research interests lie in the history of medicine as influenced by global warfare and how it can be a catalyst for advancement in the field of medicine specific to military and civilian medical care, medical transportation and evacuation methods, and medical technology during the 19th and 20th centuries.  My areas of interest include: History of Medicine, Warfare and its Influence on Medicine, Medical Technology in the 19th and 20th Centuries
