Geoff Eley, Karl Pohrt Distinguished University Professor of Contemporary History from the Department of History at the University of Michigan, will be delivering the lecture entitled “Europe in the World, 1914-40: Race, Colony, and Empire” on Monday, November 28th at 5:00 p.m.  He is also the author of Nazism as Fascism: Violence, Ideology, and the Ground of Consent in Germany 1930–1945.
