The Department of History would like to recognize Jared McBrady (Class of 2010) for his recent publication in the Journal of Cold War Studies. In his article "The Challenge of Peace: Ronald Reagan, John Paul II, and the American Bishops," Jared discusses the dynamics surrounding the drafting of the 1983 pastoral letter on nuclear weapons policy.
