Anne Hyde: "From the Fur Trade to the Half-Breed Tract: Writing a History of Mixed Blood North America"

Anne Hyde is Professor of History at the University of Oklahoma and the new editor of the Western Historical Quarterly. She is the author of the Bancroft prize-winning and Pulitzer finalist Empires, Nations, and Families: A New History of the North American West, 1800-1860 (Ecco Books, 2012).
