Location: McKenna Hall Lower Level Dining Room

Please join the Department of History as we welcome Joshua Piker, who is starting his second year as editor of the William and Mary Quarterly at the Omohundro Institute of Early American History and Culture.  He will discuss the William and Mary Quarterly's peer-review process and explain how a submitted essay becomes an accepted article.

Piker is a professor in the History Department at the College of William & Mary and the author of two books, The Four Deaths of Acorn Whistler: Telling Stories in Colonial America (Harvard, 2013) and Okfuskee: A Creek Indian Town in Colonial America (Harvard, 2004).
