A Conference in Honor of Professor James Turner

Please join us on April 24-25th for “Humanities and Divinity: Reckoning with Intellectual and Religious History,” a conference in honor James Turner, Cavanaugh Professor of Humanities Emeritus at the University of Notre Dame. The conference will be devoted to exploring the interconnected themes of knowledge, morality, and religion in American and European history. Anthony Grafton, the Henry Putnam University Professor of History at Princeton, will deliver the keynote address, “Christianity and Philology: The Story of a Complicated Marriage” at 4:30 PM on April 24th.  A schedule and more information can be found at http://reckoningconference.weebly.com.  Conference events will take place at the Eck Center at the University of Notre Dame.
