David Walker's Black Nationalism & Thomas Jefferson's White Nationalism: Reading "An Appeal to the Coloured Citizens of the World"

Peter Thompson (Oxford) will be presenting his lecture titled, "David Walker's Black Nationalism & Thomas Jefferson's White Nationalism: Reading 'An Appeal to the Coloured Citizens of the World.'"

The lecture is free and open to the public, and will be held on November 23 at 4:30 PM in 119 O'Shaughnessy.

Thompson is the Sydney L. Mayer Associate professor of American History at the University of Oxford.  His primary research interests include the history of the United States of America and the Colonies that preceded it.
