The Department of History celebrates the launch of Jaime Pensado’s new book, Rebel Mexico: Student Unrest and Authoritarian Political Culture During the Long Sixties with a reception that brings together the extended history community and an eminent outside scholar to comment on the author’s scholarly contribution.

Pensado is the Carl E. Koch Assistant Professor of History in the College of Arts and Letters.

Rebel Mexico (Stanford University Press, 2013) will be introduced by Gilbert Joseph, Farnam Professor of History and International Studies at Yale University.
