Undergraduate Advising

If you are interested in declaring a major in history, the Director of Undergraduate Studies will help you to design a course of studies in accordance with the requirements of the Department of History's undergraduate program.

Meet with the department advisor periodically to ensure that you are making progress toward your degree and to plan your course registration. We also welcome appointments from non-majors with questions about history department course or for advice regarding how to fulfill the University history requirement.

Faculty in the Department of History, advisors in the College of Arts and Letters Office for Undergraduate Studies, and staff in the Office of Undergraduate and Post-Baccalaureate Fellowships also provide valuable guidance regarding research, internship, and post-graduate career opportunities.
